Fun in the snow

Charlie took full advantage of the sunshine on Sunday and played in the massive amounts of snow we've gotten over the last couple of days.  He's only been out to play in the snow a few times this winter but every time he has so much fun!

Throwing snowballs is by far his favorite, specially when one of them actually hits someone.  He thinks that's just hilarious.

And forget about trying to get him to come inside.  He'll give you the business about that for sure!

T-minus 24 days until the first day of spring!  Warmer weather is on the way whether it feels like it or not.  Hope everyone enjoys it:)

Charlie's debut on the court

Last week was my sister Meghan's basketball senior night and Charlie got to escort her onto the court for her recognition.  What a little ham bone he was!  He had the crowd laughing as he bounced up and down with excitement to be in the middle of the court in front of all those people.  It was really cute.

I have to mention that Charlie's current obsession is his Ohio State ball cap.  He refuses to take it off (which is semi-annoying because it doesn't ever match anything he's wearing).  I swear he would sleep with it on if we let him.  It's funny because it's an adult size that we have on the smallest notch but he likes to wear it resting on the crown of his head.  It always looks like it's about to fall off but he has mastered the art of balancing it and keeping it on.  It cracks me up.  Anyways...

We are so proud of Meghan.  Her senior year basketball career was cut short due to a torn ACL and meniscus.  She has brought so much joy to our family watching her play these past ten years.  She is an amazing athlete, leader and a true talent.  We love you, Meghan!

17 Week Bumpdate

Happy Friday and Valentines Day weekend:)
I just got back from a doctor's appointment this morning and little baby #2 is doing great!  Got to hear the heartbeat again today at a strong 153!

How far along?  17 weeks
Total weight gain/loss?  9 lbs. up one pound since 13 week update.
Maternity clothes? Just work pants still but I need to do some shopping soon.  I'm starting to feel like I wear the same clothes over and over again
Stretch marks?  No
Sleep? Sleep is good. I'm having the most bizarre dreams lately.

Best moment this week? Starting to see and feel the benefits of my increased water intake.  I drink between 90 to 120 ounces of water a day now and am feeling great!  My skin is looking very smooth, healthy and glowing these days!
Miss Anything? Really missing coffee :(
Movement? Yes!  Here and there, nothing consistent yet.

Food cravings?
Hard candy specifically Gobstoppers & Spree's
Anything making you queasy or sick?  The meat department at the grocery store.  That fishy smell makes me want to vomit!  We have to either run by really fast while I hold my breath or avoid it all together.
Have you started to show yet? Yup!

t's a surprise!
Labor Signs? No
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On

Big boy bed & Baby crib

Good (Saturday) Morning!
Charlie's been sleeping in a big boy bed for two weeks now and doing great!  He loves his new queen sized bed even though he could get lost in it, ha. The morning after his first night in it Ben's parents came to pick him up and he just could not wait to show it off.  "Look at my new bed!!"  he kept yelling with his hands in the air.  He really loves it more than his crib and he looks like a tiny little peanut in it.  So cute!

We also set the crib back up and got it all ready for baby #2.  Every time I walk by it I get so excited to think that we are going to have a teeny little baby again soon:)  I did get a couple new prints, I thought about just using the same ones from Charlie's collage but decided to use some different ones.  Neutral colors of course and I still need to get a frame for the Baby Reeder one but you get the gist.

 Happy Weekend:)
