Winter Favorites Mama Edition

Spring is three weeks away so before winter ends I thought I'd round up some of my favorites:)

These wedge booties are super cute, inexpensive and will carry you right into spring!  I love wedges in the winter, it gives you the height but also the full bottom traction you need on snow and ice.
I'm smitten over those pom beanies, my sister and I got matching ones and we love them.  The pom comes off and also transitions perfectly into spring!
Anyone else heard of the Giving Keys?  My friend from Nashville got me one for my birthday and I love it!  They are long and pair well with simple flowing sweaters like this one which is all I wear in the winter.  Their message is strong and inspiring and all their jewelry is beautiful! #givemeallthegivingkeys After I got mine I started noticing tons of celebrities wearing them. I just saw Joanna Gaines wearing one last night while watching Fixer Upper:)  And I can tell from her IG account that Kaitlyn Bristowe (the last Bachelorette) wears hers on the daily.  Speaking of, how about that Bachelor & Wine tank, yeh?  Because that's what winter Monday nights are made of!!
Also, if you haven't tried the Que Bela masks at Target they are awesome!  My skin is so unpredictable in the winter so I love grabbing a couple different ones à la carte every time I'm there to match my skins needs that month.  They have so many to choose from and at less than two bucks a pop it's a no brainer.
Lastly, everyone's gotta have hot coffee to go in the winter and I'm loving that travel mug because A: Mean Girls is my jam! and B: I really am a cool mom!

Hope everyone has a great week!  Ben and I are off to Punta Cana on Friday so I'll catch ya'll on the flip side!  XO

Rad Brad is Seven Months New

Seven months and once again we can confirm that time is flying by!  I've seen such a transformation in the last few weeks, a sign that this little guy has boarded the train to toddler town and is headed there fast.  Please, not too fast little dude!!

Let's start with my favorite, Brad is giving hugs!  For real hugs and it's the best thing ever in life!  You pick him up and he wraps both arms around your neck and squeezes tight!  Then he'll hold your cheeks and go in for a slobber party on your face.  He's my little lover boy.  Actually, both my boys are and I seriously can't get enough!

My second fav is his hair!  Now that it's getting longer the front is laying down but the back hasn't quite caught up so it sticks strait up like Alfalfa! It's awesome!

He loves to blow raspberries and is talking up a storm.  I know his first word will be dada because he does "dadadadada" all the time.  Some of his other notable ramblings are "yayayaya" and "babababa" along with his signature high pitched scream that he also likes to incorporate in the middle of his laughs.
He is so laid back and happy by nature.  Just sit him in the middle of the floor with his toys or let him follow you around in his walker and he is a happy camper.  I know I talk about it every update but he is so obsessed with bath time especially when his big brother is in with him.  The more Charlie splashes the harder Brad laughs.  The only time Brad gives huge belly laughs is when he's playing in the tub.  And when bath time is over, watch out because it usually ends in a scream fest!  I need to get him signed up for swim lessons because I know he'll just love it!

Anyone else notice their littlest doing things way earlier because they see their big sibs doing it and so badly want to do it too?  I'm noticing this more and more everyday. It's only a matter of time before Brad is pulling up on furniture so he can be on Charlie's level.  And when Ben and Charlie rough house Brad goes nuts trying to get to them.  He wants in on the action in the worst way!

Happy 7 months, Brad.  You are a ray of sunshine and we love you so much!

Valentine's Day 2016

All though it's been the mildest winter, this Valentine's Day weekend was the coldest and snowiest weekend we've had in a long time.  The temperature was down to -5 at one point. Geesh!  Charlie and I made heart shaped pizza bites on Friday.  He loved both making and eating them.  I had to make twice as many heart pepperonis than I actually needed because he kept sneaking them off the pizzas and eating them.  We were calling the pizzas our Valentine's Day treats so naturally when my moms dog, Sadie swiped one off his plate he came flying into the kitchen yelling "SADIE ATE MY VALENTINE'S DAY!". LOL I also tried to make white chocolate covered pretzels to share at the office not realizing how impossible it is to melt white chocolate.  I tried twice and failed miserably so I said screw it and ended up crunching my pretzels into the chocolate goo and made chocolate pretzel bark instead. Side note: if anyone is good at melting perfectly smooth white chocolate then you have magical powers and I want to be your friend.  The rest of our weekend was pretty chill. Ben and I stayed in Saturday night and watched a Redbox after the boys went to bed.  He had to take a quick meeting on Sunday so I packed up the kids and headed to my moms for breakfast and then met back up with Ben for dinner.  No big plans or parties, just time well spent with my loves.  I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have so much love in my life.  Not just on Valentine's Day but every day.
Hope everyone is staying warm and driving safe!  It's a beautiful winter wonderland today.  Have a great rest of the week, XO!

Our Nashville Getaway

Ben and I took a quick trip to Nashville this past weekend to celebrate my friends birthday.  We were able to jam pack a ton of fun into our short stay, starting with mani's at a unique Nail Bar and an awesome dinner at Virago.  We visited the main "NashVegas" strip,  had breakfast at the coolest little coffee bistro.  Played tourist at the Parthenon and farmers market. Then ended with a birthday celebration at a local brewery, a fun Mexican dinner and a night of drinks on the town.  Ben and I were introduced to Cards Against Humanity (I know, we live under a rock) and best of all we got to spend time with all our Nashville peeps that we've come to know and love so much!!  I nursed a hangover the whole ride home but it was the best time ever!  Happy Birthday Rach, lots of love today and always!
Until next time, Nashville!! XO
I'll be back with more of these guys next week!

Mama and Little Dude Valentine Swag

I got some feedback around the holidays from a friend.  She said that I post my holiday inspiration boards so close to the actual holiday that by the time she goes to buy something that I've posted it's already sold out.   Sorry sista! This one is late too but I promise moving forward I will start posting these 3-4 weeks before the holiday to ensure all the goodies are still in stock!  Anywho, here is my V-Day inspiration for mama's and their mini's:)

How cute are the matching robot jams, robot onesie and robot sippy!  Perfect if you are big bro little bro coordinating.    I'm a serious sucker for pajama's and Gap never disappoints.  I picked up this Cupid sweatshirt for Brad too.  Also, here are the Valentine Chair backers I mentioned awhile ago:)
Other note worthies for mama: my two all time favorite nail polishes- Essie's A Cut Above is the prettiest pink glitter color (perfect for accent nails) and Matte About You gives any color that matte finish which is all the rage right now.  Tony Moly's lip scrub is awesome, it leaves your lips feeling silky smooth.  A must have for winter months when your lips are easily chapped and cracking.  And lastly, my favorite.  I'm so late in the game with this one but you have to try Baby Foot.  I little over a year ago every beauty blogger was abuzz with this foot chemical peel.  I was so skeptical to try it because it's from Japan and all the pictures I saw online were both amazing and revolting at the same time.  My mom got if for me for Christmas this year and I recently got around to trying it.  It was gross and totally awesome and I can't wait to do it again! I will leave you with this... You are doing yourself a major disservice if you don't try this product at least once.  That is all.
If you follow me on Instagram (@stephreeder1) you saw my Valentines Day throw back of Charlie, he looks so little I can barely remember him at this age.

Here is the original post to look back on;)  Hope everyone has a nice weekend!  Ben and I are headed to Nashville for the weekend sans the boys. Hello two consecutive full nights of sleep!  Come to Mama! Haha
