Kids Fashion Friday Featuring Saturday Morning Pancakes

Happy Fashion Friday!  I'm teaming up with the most rad brand this week, Saturday Morning Pancakes!  Last Fashion Friday I brought you the cutest tees, this Fashion Friday I bring you the coolest.
How awesome is this Regulators tee!? Pretty sure Nate Dogg and Warren G would approve. Mount up!

Can we also take a moment to recognize those thighs?

Saturday Morning Pancakes literally has something for the whole family.  I'm obsessed with the regulators tee's for mom and dad too!
I can't wait to get my hands on their Gangster Rap shirt either because #momlife.  I love pairing my graphic tees, boyfriend jeans and converse kicks with pretty accessories to dress them up and their Gangster Rap t-shirt totally completes the look. So cute!

We absolutely love SMP, the mama behind the brand is just as amazing as her products!  Go check them out on Instagram to stay up to date with new releases, giveaways and flash sales.  You won't want to miss them! XOXO

*I received some of the featured products complimentary for review and promotional purposes.  All opinions are my own.

Happy 11 Months, Rad Brad!

Good Morning!  What a great time to be a Northeast Ohio sports fan!  What an awesome win for our city.  So proud of our Cav's and so proud to live in The Land!  Since my office is so close to Lebron's house, some co workers and I took a walk over to welcome him home on Monday.  What an awesome experience that was!  Hope all my friends and family have fun at the parade today too!

Little mister turned 11 months old yesterday!  Time is a flyin'.

This little monkey does not like laying still for these photos.  He hates diaper changes and getting strapped into his car seat.  Basically, anything that has to do with him being still he is not a fan of!
His hair has a mind of it's own.  Sadly, it's doesn't stick straight up anymore unless he is fresh out the tub but it also doesn't lay flat either.  It does it's own thang.  No more gummy smiles either.  All four front teeth popped through around the same time last month and his smile is cuter than ever but he's grinding them!  How do I get him to stop!?  The two top and bottom teeth on the right side came in first and as soon as they did he started grinding them.  Not sure what to do about it but the sound is like nails on a chalkboard, eek.

We've got a walker!  As I mentioned last week he took his first steps a few weeks ago and I was so happy I was there for it!  When Charlie started walking, he took his first steps and never looked back but Brad still enjoys crawling so he's doing both.  He's so fast and in to everything.  Now that he is up right on two feet he can see the world in a whole new light; off exploring he goes!

We took him to the boat for the first time and he loved it.  It was his first time swimming in a pool too and he loved every second of it.  He got in his little raft and was so relaxed he nearly fell asleep!

We got him a new convertible car seat like the one Charlie uses.  He was just way too cramped in the newborn car seat.  He is still rear facing but has much more room now.  If you are in the market for a new car seat I recommend the Safety 1st Complete Air 65.  Both the boys have them now and I love it.  I was reading the reviews and most of the complaints were that it is hard to install.  That may be true but I'm more concerned with the safety and it really does have great safety ratings.

Some of his favorite foods are peaches, cheerios, yogurt with blueberries, chicken and potatoes.  We do smoothies almost everyday and they are by far his favorite!  He is using utensils and drinking out of big boy cups with straws and we are slowly transitioning to sippy cups with straws too.

He is turning into such a big boy right in front of our eyes!  Not even the sun can shine as bright as you, Brad!  Happy 11 months!
Go Cleveland Cavaliers!

Charlie Beau, 3 1/2 yr. Update

Hope everyone had a great weekend!  Brad took is first steps last week and everyday since he gains more and more confidence on his feet.  Yesterday he took about four steps on his own so he'll probably be a full blown walker by the time he hits 11mo.  which is pretty spot on with how Charlie was too.  Since I'm not a stay at home mom I'm always nervous I'm going to miss milestones like their first steps so I was thrilled that both Ben and I were there to witness it!

I thought I'd do a mini update on the dude.  I can't believe he is going to be 4 years old in November.  I still feel like he's my tiny little baby.  I don't know his exact stats but he's a big dude.  We took him out for ice cream a couple weeks ago and there was a group of kids there after their baseball game.  Charlie was right  in the middle of the group and just as big as most the kids maybe even bigger.  Ben asked one of the dad's how old they were and he said they were 5-6 years old.  He was supersized to hear Charlie was only 3.

He loves wearing hats.  Can't leave the house without one.  His favorite is a red ball cap that he's had for a few years now and it's two sizes too small.  He won't give it up though.  We keep asking if he'll give it to Brad since it fits him better but he refuses.  And since it doesn't fit, he just balances it on the top of his head.  It's hilarious!

He's not a thrill seeker. Although he loves the outdoors and an adventure, you won't find him climbing trees or rock hopping.  He's more of a leaf collector, bug finder and flower picker.  He loves looking for pine cones or feathers (which calls feather tails) to paint and his favorite thing to do is hunt for the perfect flowers to make a bouquet for mama.

He is such a good big brother.  Very helpful and patient with Brad.  He let's Brad crawl all over him and pretends like they're wrestling.  Brad is so obsessed with him and wants to do whatever he's doing.  I really love seeing them play together.

He would much rather watch the old Disney cartoons from when our parents were kids than the ones now and he'll take Donald Duck and Pluto over any super hero.

He's laid back, thoughtful, caring and a little goofball.  He's the coolest kid I know, Charlie Beau.

Peanut butter & jealous!? haha
Have a great week! XOXO

Father's Day Round Up

Since Father's Day is right around the corner and because I know you all just love my round ups, I've put together a gift guide!  I think most dad's would love any of these gifts but I mostly picked them because I know for certain Mr. Reeder would!  Except that tee. I'm not sure if he would wear it or not, I just thought it was funny!!
And of course there's always the fun kids crafts like this candy letter that I've always wanted to do or this finger paint art.  I'm going to try and get a fun snapshot of the boys and frame it for Ben's office.  Hoping to get one of them holding a cool Rad Dad sign but will settle for one with at least one of them looking at the camera or no one crying in it.  It is so hard to take pictures of them together these days.  I have to brib Charlie with either my camera to take pictures of me and Brad after or with a "special treat".  Whatever works, right?

I'm also on the hunt for some chocolate beer.  Ben loves it but always has a hard time finding it except around the holidays when Sam Adams does their seasonal craft variety pack with chocolate bock included.

Cheers to all the dad's out there!  However you spend the day with your dad's and/or hubby's, I hope it's a day filled with love!
XO

Here Comes the Sun- Swimwear Picks

Happy June!  Here we are, half way through the year.  Isn't it flying by!?   We spent our long weekend with family and went to a fun Memorial Day party at my aunt and uncles lake house in Geneva. The boys got all kinds of new gear for the summer, a big blow up pool, a sand and water table, new baseball gear and a trampoline!  They literally spend all day everyday outside.  Brad has the cutest little tan now too:)
Now that summer time is here I thought I'd put together some boys swimwear inspiration, including my favorite "Dude" rash guard (surprise surprise)!
Is it obvious I'm obsessing over neon green for the boys this summer because I totally am!  I can't help it, look how cute!
I also wanted to mention that Gap has partnered  with Alex's Lemonade Stand, my favorite foundation raising money to fight childhood cancer.  Northwestern Mutual (the company I work for) is a corporate sponsor so I've had some opportunities to donate towards the cause over the years. Anyways, check out their super cute lemon tee's and onesies where 100% of the net profits are donated to this awesome foundation!  Snag one for your little and spread the love!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
